sharing your precious valuables

When you're in a serious relationship (marriage, boy/girlfriend, friend, whatever), you have to share some of your precious things with your partner, like your taste in music and movies, time, and family. It can be challenging because when they don't like what you have cherished forever, it hurts. It's a damn pain in your heart when you are sharing Ferris Bueller's Day Off and they don't love it.
