The Class Reunion

I am an expert on the class reunion now. Having not gone to mine and going to my wife's.

There are a four basic reasons why people go to reunions:

1. Care - You actually liked High School and liked the people - I would say this is the majority of the people who go to reunions. It seems obvious and crazy at the same time. 
2. Convenience - It's easy to get to. You weren't doing anything else on a Friday night. Why not. This also helps if you are from a cool place and family still lives there.
3. Cold - The entire mission of you attending was to mock the people you saw again, just 10 years later. Let's be honest, a lot of people are exactly the same - as are you, you bully. 
4. Chip - That shoulder is still bothering you and you NEED to prove everyone wrong. You weren't the loser you were in High School. You are now the coolest person ever and they are now sorry they can't be your friend. You don't need them....

Purely cynical?

Maybe. 

I just don't get it.
