Days away

I will be home on the 18th of August. That is very close. I am very excited. But what does this mean for you? Many things. So many things that I do not have the time nor the space to explain all of these things. One thing for certain is that this blog will be maintained better. We all are winners off of that one. You're smiling now aren't you?

The last thing I want to mention is that I love the Olympics.

From an iPhone

Dear Friends, It's been awhile since you've heard from me. Things haven't changed all that much. People have realized that instagram is overrun by pictures of food, zombies exist, Abraham Lincoln killed vampires, Lebron finally got a ring, my best friend and little brother both got married, and Anderson Cooper is gay. So, not much has changed.

Florida has been an interesting experience. I live with dope heads. Sure glad I took D.A.R.E. seriously (somewhat related thought: who decided that McGruff, the crime dog should be a blood hound? I get Smokey the bear, but a blood hound? C'mon. This isn't England circa 1890). I have also been given the education on the illuminati. It's a heavy burden of knowledge to carry, but I think I'll manage by not passing the enlightenment on. My other lessons have revolved around the art of deception. I'm not picking up on these demonstrations as quickly. However, the end is approaching quickly. Hopefully, this is the beginning of the end. I mean that, I will never have to sell another alarm again. What else is there to say really? I live in a bubble. True depression is realizing that one of your favorite outlets is Facebook - and it still sucks. I am complaining too much. It's not all bad. The beach is nice. And.... Love David.

Welcome to hell: day one

I made a reminder in my phone about this day several weeks ago. Selling alarms. In just four hours of knocking doors I had this thought, "there has to be an easier way." I waited for some kind of intuition, but nothing came. No moment of zen, enlightenment, or epiphany. I realized that I have no set of skills or ingenuity, as of now, that would provide any substantial monetary compensation. That was a sad moment. But this for a season and for a reason.

I am sacrificing now for the late. Money is the tool of liberation and freedom (or of captivity). These are my reasonings. As contrived as they may be, I have to believe in this decree. I have to buy into a world where your intrinsic worth and manhood is determined by the amount of accounts you sell. Its a crass and racial world. A world that I would rather not be apart of. There are some bright spots. I am in a beautiful place. I get to work on my communication skills. I will get a sweet farmers tan. Hopefully some beach time will cure that. I don't have to study for anything. Life is relatively simpler. Sure, there are some positives. But obviously not that many, mostly because I am blogging.
